The Confident Child 

 Yael's life long mission is to guide children in the direction of self-love.

 

Yael is an independent guidance counselor. She has earned a masters degree in counseling and has over twenty years of experience working with children in  the school system. Yael helps children thrive by encouraging them to live at their highest potential.

Yael knows that children need to focus on their innate strengths, talents and capabilities in order to build self confidence. Every child she works with is an opportunity, and a new adventure filled with joy!

Yael works in unison with each child to delicately unwrap their unique gifts. She works as a team with the parents, caregivers, and school teachers offering them effective techniques for both home and school.
 

Each session is tailored to your child’s specific needs and during a typical session, Yael will address the most significant need at that time. Yael has experience with a range of developmental conditions such as attention deficit, autism, social anxiety, school resistance, learning disabilities, and low self-esteem. Yael enjoys uncovering the underlying root causes together with both the parent and the child.
